Each day begins with pranayama, meditation, and journaling, setting the stage for a transformative experience. Dive into detailed workshops, teaching practice, sequence study, teaching methodology, and hands-on adjustments. This course is ideal for those looking to safely master yoga poses and refine their teaching skills with a deep understanding of alignment, open to all levels of yogis and yoga teachers who want to go deep into their yoga practice and refine their existing knowledge and skills.

The Advanced Asana TTC is specifically designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of yogis and yoga teachers. It serves as a continuous journey of growth in practicing and teaching yoga. In this course, we will focus on advanced poses such as arm balances, flexiblity, inversions, and backbends. Our experienced instructors will guide you on how to perform, refine, teach, adjust, and support both advanced and beginner students in these poses. 

Additionally, you will learn how to create sequences and smooth transitions incorporating these poses into your yoga practice. Meet with our teacher Vivienne

Vivienne is a distinguished yoga teacher and the founder of The Tapas Yoga School, based in Bali. Transitioning from a high-powered executive to a dedicated yogi in 2014, she has since led transformative yoga teacher trainings worldwide, accumulating over 1400 hours of training and 10,000 hours of teaching. Vivienne’s approach centers on the therapeutic benefits of proper alignment, blending her deep knowledge of yoga philosophy with practical, hands-on teaching. Her mantra, “Good alignment is good therapy,” underpins her classes, making them a journey of personal growth and self-discovery.

Can I do the course if I am not a yoga teacher?

Non-yoga teachers are welcome to participate having at least 6 month of experience as a yoga student or any sport.

Understand the human body’s mechanics in relation to yoga. Learn how to prevent injuries and improve alignment through anatomical knowledge.

  • Practicum and Teaching Experience

Put your knowledge into practice by leading actual yoga classes. Receive constructive feedback to refine your teaching skills.

  • Teaching Methodology

Develop effective teaching skills, including class sequencing, hands-on adjustments, partner stretching, and communication techniques. Learn how to create inclusive and accessible classes for all levels.

  • Pranayama and Breathwork

Explore the power of breath through pranayama techniques. Learn to harness the breath to improve energy, focus, and overall well-being.

  • Yoga Philosophy

What You Will Gain From the Course


Explore the Universal Principles of Alignment applied to classic poses, understanding the foundational structures that support all asanas.

Front Split Drills & Backbends

 Deep dive into front split drills, exploring transitions from Wild Thing to Wheel, Ustrasana to Wheel, along with Kapotasana and Scorpion, emphasizing the fluidity and strength in backbends.

Arm Balancer

Master poses like Crow, Side Crow, Kundiyasana 1 & 2, and Galavasana. Learn transitions and techniques to stabilize and balance.


Hands-on drills for Handstands and Pincha Mayurasana, including a series of 7 headstands, aimed at building confidence and understanding inversion mechanics.

Mobility & Strength

Focus on side splits and core strengthening, essential for supporting advanced inversions and asanas, enhancing overall body strength and flexibility.

Every Day Includes:

  • Teaching Practice: Apply what you’ve learned in real teaching scenarios.
  • Sequence Study: Deepen your understanding of crafting effective yoga sequences.
  • Teaching Methodology: Explore diverse teaching methods to engage students of all levels.
  • Hands-on Adjustment: Learn and practice adjusting techniques to assist students safely.
  • Pranayama, Meditation, Journaling, Yin/ stretching/ relaxing sessions at the end of day.
