40-Hour Aerial Yoga Teacher Training Course

Cultivate your teaching skills in aerial yoga 4 days with our 40-Hour Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Program (YACEP) led by Merve. Our meticulously crafted training combines theory and practice to immerse you in the fundamentals of aerial yoga. From mastering poses to understanding safety, alignment, flexibility, and sequencing principles, you’ll gain the knowledge and confidence to teach with grace and precision.

Learn to seamlessly blend movement and breath to create graceful flows, including dynamic aerial vinyasa, iyengar and restorative yin aerial yoga classes, which combine restorative and meditative practices.

Each day features a unique workshop to enhance your skills and broaden your experience.

 

Restorative and Yin Aerial Yoga: Combines elements of yin yoga, restorative yoga. Holding poses for extended periods stretches the deep connective fascia tissue, promoting relaxation and activating the parasympathetic nervous system for self-renewal. This practice facilitates realignment of the mind, body, emotions, and spirit, fostering holistic well-being.

Aerial Yoga Assist: Spotting, assisting and confident touch: Learn safe spotting techniques, basic and advanced assisting, and hands-on adjustments. Deepen your understanding of partner-assisted postural release in the hammock and explore therapeutic touch and release-oriented movement, expanding the Aerial Yoga experience for you and your students.

Teaching Practice: Learn the art of teaching aerial yoga classes and master the skill of class sequencing preparation.

 

Aerial Yoga Fundamentals and Asana Lab: Explore the anatomy of major joints, and participate in our aerial asana clinic, offering a detailed breakdown aerial yoga poses. Learn the safest and most supportive methods to teach aerial inversions, and refine your teaching skills through practice and constructive critique. Discover how to effectively structure various types of aerial yoga classes, from fun introductory sessions for beginners to challenging aerial power workouts and graceful aerial flow. Analyze individual poses one by one in detail to learn safe practice, alignment, common mistakes, plus beginner and advanced variations.

Aerial Yoga Therapy for a Healthy Back: Tailored for individuals with tight back and shoulders or those experiencing reduced flexibility due to aging, our aerial yoga therapy workshop focuses on promoting spine health.

Can I do the course if I am not a yoga teacher?

Non-yoga teachers are welcome to participate having at least 6 month of experience as a yoga student or any sport.

Can I Teach At Your Studio After I Complete Your Aerial Yoga Teacher Training?

Upon completing our Aerial Yoga Teacher Training, you’ll have the opportunity to apply for a teaching role at our studio! Here’s how our comprehensive pathway works:

  • Assist Aerial Yoga Classes: Gain hands-on experience by assisting in at least five aerial yoga classes or private group sessions. This helps you understand class dynamics and student needs.

  • Teach Under Supervision: Teach one complete Aerial Yoga Essentials community class under direct supervision. Our management will assess your readiness to lead independently.

  • Assessment and Further Preparation: Receive feedback after teaching your supervised class. If needed, assist in five more classes and attend five classes as a student to enhance your teaching techniques.

  • Re-evaluation: Return for re-evaluation when you feel prepared, as progress varies for everyone.
