Cancellation Policy for Sup Yoga and Sailing Classes

You can cancel a class up to 48 hours before its start time and receive store credit, which can be used within a month. If you cancel less than 48 hours prior to the class, you will be charged the deposit amount and you will not be entitled to a refund or credit note.

At Yoga Malta, ensuring a safe experience is our top priority. In the event of bad weather conditions, we will decide to cancel a class at least 3 hours before its start time, and you will receive credit for a future class within a month.

Please note that we reserve the right to cancel classes with 4 students or less. In such cases, you will be notified at least 3 hours in advance, and you will receive credit for a future class within the same season.

Lastly, kindly note that the location of the tour may be subject to change based on weather conditions.

SUP Equipment and Damage Policy

Please note that we provide all the necessary equipment for the SUP, including paddleboards, masks, and paddles, which are rental items. In the event of any damage occurring during the tour, the customer will be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement.

Cancellation Policy for Yoga and Meditation Classes

If you need to cancel for any reason, we require at least 6 hours advance notice, the full amount will be credited to your account at Yoga Malta (must be used within a month). This credit can be used towards any yoga class offered.

If you cancel less than 6 hours prior to the class, you will be charged the full amount and you will not be entitled to a refund or credit note.

We reserve the right to cancel the classes with 4 students or less. In this case you’ll be notified at least 3 hours in advance. You will receive credit for a future class within the same season.

Teacher Training Course and Retreats

Refunds & Cancellations

-In order to reserve your place on the training a non-refundable deposit is required. The place on the training is only reserved once this deposit has been received by Yoga Malta.

-Please note this deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to another yoga teacher training/retreats.

-Full payment for the training must be made 1 month prior to the start date.

-If you cancel your place on the training more than 8 weeks before the start date of the training, We will be able to refund the total payment minus the non-refundable deposit. 

-If you have to leave the training once it has started at any point, Yoga Malta will not be able to offer a partial refund for the remainder of the course and will not be able to transfer your place to a future training.

-If you must withdraw from the program for special circumstances such as a serious illness, injury, change in circumstances or bereavement, Yoga Malta will unfortunately not be able to give any refund. It is up to the discretion of Yoga Malta if they can defer the remaining modules to a future training.

Attendance 

-To meet Yoga Alliance US regulations, it is compulsory to attend 100% of the modules

-Please ensure that you are able to fully commit to the training and the dates prior to registration.

-Any class you may miss will need to be completed before graduation with the teacher. All missed modules will need to be arranged and paid for by the student. Please note the teachers time will be charged at 100€ per hour.

-Please be punctual for the sessions, if you are repeatedly late we have the right to ask you to reschedule the module with added costs.

Traveling to the training venue or retreat location in Malta

-Yoga Malta takes no responsibility for your travel to the training in Malta/Bali or any other locations, cancellation of flights or any transport booked to travel to the training in Malta and will not be held responsible for any refunds and charges incurred associated.

-Yoga Malta will not be able to refund the training costs if for any reason you are unable to attend the training in Malta such as air travel strikes, missed flights, Covid or any other circumstances.

-We advise all students to book refundable/flexible flights and that you have booked comprehensive travel insurance to cover you in such an instance.

Payment of Fees

-Full payment of the training must be made one month prior to the start of the course date.

– If in the unlikely event that you are unable to join the course or cannot finish the course,  the payment must still be paid for in full in line with the refunds and cancellations terms and conditions stated above. 

Bad Conduct

No refunds will be given if the school removes a student from the training for bad conduct. Bad conduct is violation of the Code of Conduct, harassment, bullying, or any other behavior that is inappropriate or disruptive to the welfare of the training or to fellow students.

Rescheduled Immersion & Training due to COVID-19

-If due to COVID-19 measures we are unable to commence or continue the training part way through, Yoga Malta will postpone the training, the training will not be cancelled. The new dates will be the decision of Yoga Malta which will be scheduled as soon as possible due to venue availability & certainty of lock-down restrictions being lifted.

Photography & Video

– Yoga Malta reserves the right to take photographs and videos during the Sup, Sailing, Yoga, Meditation, Retreats and Teacher Training and these will be used for marketing purposes. 

-Please inform Yoga Malta prior to the training if you would not like your photograph used in Yoga Malta marketing materials.
